After two months of not being able to get to my sewing room upstairs because of my broken leg, I've almost forgotten what my favorite room looks like. But I have started sewing again, using the dining room as a makeshift sewing area. Boy, do I appreciate my sewing room, now that I can't use it! The thing I miss the most about my sewing room is the organization. I like knowing where to find everything when I need it. If you haven't taken the time to organize your sewing area, you don't know what you are missing. To help you get started -- or to add a few good ideas if you're already pretty well organized -- there are many good articles on the subject at OrganizedHome.com about designing and organizing your sewing room. Good luck! Get organized! Readers' Comments: December 4, 2001 Thanks so much for the link to the Organized Home and Organized Sewing Room. Yes, I am guilty of clutter, but that site is just what the doctor ordered for January. I will be getting rid of my clutter and enjoying an organized home. Questions? Comments?
