Yvonne Porcella 3619 Shoemake Ave ![]() "Answering the Riddle", shown at the 9th Triennial of Tapestry, Museum of Textiles, Lodz, Poland, 1998 110" x 102" Author
Workshop Information Write to Yvonne for a copy of the five-page list of lectures and workshops Workshop fees (US dollars) Prices listed are for group workshops of a maximum of 20 students.
Fees subject to change annually. Transportation costs Long distance travel expenses include round trip air fare, fare to and from the airport and/or parking fees. I will book the airline ticket and expect to be reimbursed for the full amount. Airfare will be booked well in advance to provide the lowest possible airfare via economy class. Once the airfare is booked there is a no cancellation policy for the class. All meals and lodging must be provided. Lodging in a motel or hotel is preferred but I will consider housing with a member of the group. I expect a private room with private bath in a non-smoking home which is a also a home without household pets. Class fees and transportation fees are due upon completion of the class unless otherwise arranged in advance. Classroom logistics 20 students are maximum for each class. All classrooms must have large tables suitable for 2 students to each table. Other items needed in the classroom are as follows:
If the class is a clothing class, it is helpful if a mirror is available so students can see to adjust the pattern. Notification will be made if a slide projector is needed in class at the time the materials lists are sent to the group. It is expected that each student will bring a sewing machine to classes where they are required and enough extension cords to plug in the machines and irons. In a six hour class a lunch break will be taken at 12:30. |
