I have someone interested in purchasing my Inspira Quilt Frame but I would like to keep my GrandQuilter as opposed to selling it with the frame.

Do any other sewing machines work with the Inspira Quilting Frame?

She has a Brother Duetta 4500D?

I clicked on the like give above but it said it wasn't there. Do you happen to know where you can buy blank 8" by 11" inch pieces? I need to locate that size in order to mark the pieces I want to make the templets. ANY help would be appreciated.

I quilted for the first time this week using my Pfaff and the Inspira frame. I had trouble with the thread getting too tight in the upper tension dial after quilting about 18inches on the quilt. The tension doesn't seem too tight when I start out. Is there a particular type of thread I should be using.

Check to see if there is a built-in thread cutter on the foot pedal. On my foot attachment, it is a reddish-orange square next to the actual foot pedal. If you hit that instead of the foot pedal it will cut the threads instead of sewing!

This is actually a great feature, but may take some training to keep from stepping on the cutter button.

My sister-in-law passed away in October, 2011. She was the proud owner of a Pfaff Tiptronic 2040. She purchased it in 2000. My brother is trying to sell it and I might be the buyer. Can anyone give me an idea on a fair price for that machine today? I'd appreciate any help anyone can provide.
