Quilter's Review Sampler

Piecing It All Together
Is it a course? Is it a class? Is it a book? Yes!
I'll probably never lose my fascination with how color works in quilts, and I'll certainly never stop trying to become more skillful in that area. With that in mind, I tackled EQ5 Color this week, a book that is a course and a class on how color theory comes to life (or should) in the quilting studio.
Speaking of deft and surprising uses of color in quilts, that's only one of many tricks that Karen Combs uses in creating her famous quilt illusions. Sophie reviews Karen's latest book, Floral Illusions For Quilters this week, as well as a charmer for our feathered friends, For The Birds.
Hearts and flowers and hugs (and chocolate!) to all our wonderful readers for St. Valentine's Day! I'll be back in your inbox shortly thereafter, on February 16th.
'Til then, quilt up a storm!

P.S. If you've got something you'd like to sell, a Quilter's Review classified ad is an easy, inexpensive way to get the word out to over 11,000 avid quilters -- our wonderful readers! Learn more here.
