Quilter's Review Sampler
October 11, 2004
Piecing It All Together
Fall has arrived in New England with its usual lavish display of reds, yellows, golds, and browns. With the lingering greens mixed in, it's a daring and wonderful palette -- I should be so bold myself!
I'm hard at work on two commissioned quilts, each an original design. I'm really enjoying the chance to stretch and grow and spend many guilt-free hours at my sewing machine. This is the most quilting I've done since starting Quilter's Review almost four and a half years ago, and I'm loving it!
This week in Quilter's Review I look at Baby Lock's Ellageo 3 sewing and embroidery machine. Sophie reviews Sharyn Craig's latest, Great Sets, and a book on using chenille in quilts -- a great new twist if you're ready to do some stretching and growing of your own!
I'll be back in your inbox on October 25th.
'Til then, happy quilting!

P.S. Need to make an easy, charming gift? My new Charming Houses wall quilt pattern is a great way to assemble a quaint village scene using fusible web applique and 6" charms from your stash. You'll love the look -- see it here -- and making it couldn't be more fun!
