Quilter's Review Sampler
December 20, 2004
Piecing It All Together
Another year has flown by, and here come the holidays!
It has been an exciting year for Quilter's Review, with lots of great products and books reviewed, lots of great tips from our readers, and lots of interesting and helpful discussions in the forums.
You can access all of it, plus everything else we've published over the past four and a half years, through the links that run down the left-hand side of every page on our Web site.
But before we leave 2004 to history, I thought I'd pick my favorite products of the year. So here are links to the reviews that I think represent the Best of 2004:
Best Sewing Machine
Pfaff's Creative 2144 Sewing Machine
Best Quilting Frame
Hinterberg's Easy Build Machine Quilt Frame
Best Furniture
Home Cutting Table & Gridded Cloth Mat
Best Quilting Software
Hewlett-Packard's Custom Quilt Label Kit
Best Notion / Accessory
Martelli's Zip Bind System
This week Sophie reviews Linda Giesler Carlson's Best of 4 Blocks and More as well as a book on making good use of today's fabulous machine embroidery designs in a quilt.
I'll be back in your inbox next year on January 3rd.
'Til then, may your holiday season and the coming year be filled with peace, love, and quilting!

P.S. Need to make an easy, charming gift? My new Charming Houses wall quilt pattern is a great way to assemble a quaint village scene using fusible web applique and 6" charms from your stash. You'll love the look -- see it here -- and making it couldn't be more fun!
