Quilter's Review Sampler

Piecing It All Together
Happy Love Month! February is the month to show your love, and what better way to show your love than by making a quilt?
On February 19, Project Linus and Janome will present Make A Blanket Day. For every blanket or quilt you take to a participating Janome dealer, you will get a chance to win a Janome DC3050 sewing machine. Each participating dealer gives away a machine, so your chances of winning aren't bad at all. Everyone who participates is a winner anyway, since the blankets all go to children in need.
This week I reviewed the Janome DC3050 for you, and I really liked it. Read the review. Think about how exciting it would be to win. Then hurry to a participating Janome dealer with one or more new, handmade blankets or quilts (any size, any style) by February 28 for a chance to win that new DC3050 sewing machine. I'm doing it, and I hope you will, too.
Also this week, Sophie reviews Stars By Magic, by Nancy Johnson-Srebro. I've never seen Sophie so excited about a book before! Read her review and see if you think it's a book you could get excited about, too. And don't miss her review of Circle Play, too.
I'll be back in your inbox on February 21.
'Til then, happy quilting!

P.S. Need to make an easy, charming gift? My new Charming Houses wall quilt pattern is a great way to assemble a quaint village scene using fusible web applique and 6" charms from your stash. You'll love the look -- see it here -- and making it couldn't be more fun!
