Quilter's Review Sampler
#207 - August 1, 2005
Piecing It All Together
Have you ever wondered where you get your inspiration? Some of us get it by looking at quilts in magazines or books but that isn't the only place to look. For the last week or so, my online art quilt group has been taking digital photos in our back yards and surrounding areas to share with each other. It not only gives us more insight into each other, it gives us an inspirational art gallery every day. The real side benefit is the fact that our photos have trained us to see the beauty around us even better than before.
In this issue of Quilter's Review Sampler, I review Laura Wasilowski's book that is filled with inspiration and Eleanor Burns' book that will motivate you to do some serious strip piecing.
If you are looking for a new shape to use in your quilts without increasing the difficulty, read about the Triangle Ruler in my product review.
Speaking of inspiration, Sophie is enjoying herself at a writers' conference this week. We are all thinking of you at your retreat.
The next issue of Quilter's Review Sampler will appear in your email box on August 15th. Until then, remember that inspiration is all around you.

P.S. Thinking about a new sewing machine? Save a bunch of time, money, and frustration!
