Quilter's Review Sampler

Piecing It All Together
Words cannot express how I feel about the tragedy the Gulf States have endured these past several days. I think only time will enable the process of quantifying the toll. For the victims of this terrible storm Katrina and the subsequent flood in the city of New Orleans, this will become part of their lives forever.
As quilters, we have ways to help that many others don't. We can send a quilt to those who have nothing, letting them know that someone really cares for them. Karey Bresenhan, director of Quilts, Inc that brings us the International Quilt Festivals, has organized a quilt drive and matching funds for donations. To read more about it, click here.
In this Labor Day issue of Quilter's Review Sampler, I review an amazing product that will make it easy to do two things at once. Sophie reviews a book will that have you making quilts quickly. Sophie's second review book tells you how to quilt and embellish your pieces in one step.

P.S. Thinking about a new sewing machine? Save a bunch of time, money, and frustration!
