Quilter's Review Sampler
#212 - October 24, 2005
Piecing It All Together
I hope you are enjoying the Halloween festivities as much as I am. I went with my daughter and grandsons to Keene, New Hampshire, for their annual Pumpkin Festival. In addition to all the fabulous carved pumpkins, there was music, food, crafts, and dancing. We are still waiting to hear the final count of the number of pumpkins on display. The 2003 total reached 28,952. I've never seen that many pumpkins all in one place. All the jack-o'-lanterns have inspired me to make a wall hanging to decorate my daughter's house.
If you have finished making all your decorating quilts, you may be ready to start your gifts. Sophie reviews two books about sampler quilts. Alex Anderson and Eleanor Burns show you how to make beautiful quilts in their easy-to-understand books.
You can read about my experience with a product that will make any quilter happier. Aqua-Aire makes a wonderful gift for yourself or the quilter that has everything. Be sure to add this to your Christmas list.
Assuming we make it through this Nor'easter, Quilter's Review Sampler will be back in your email box on November 7th. Until then, Happy Sewing.
