Quilter's Review Sampler
#219 - February 27, 2006
Piecing It All Together
I just visited my Pfaff dealer to find that Pfaff has introduced a new line of affordable sewing machines and a stitch regulator for use with their Grandquilter/Inspira Frame combination, I've been playing on the Singer Quantum Futura sewing/embroidery machine and have made arrangements with my Janome dealer to spend some time with the 6600 that has a walking foot feature built in. With all these machines to try, I can't wait to get my hands on some fabric to get sewing! I'll treat you to these reviews over the next few issues of Quilter's Review Sampler.
In this issue, I'll tell you how I cut setting triangles so quickly for a Christian Crosses lap quilt I'm making for a friend. I have three books reviews for you this time: one using strip piecing, one on hand quilting designs and one book for those who like art quilts.
Drop into the Quilter's Review Forums to share your hard earned knowledge or find answers to your technical questions. Quilter's Review Sampler is scheduled to return to your box the week of March 14th. I'll see you there.Until then, stay warm and dry - quilt indoors.

P.S.Sell the items you no longer use, a Quilter's Review classified ad is an easy, inexpensive way to get the word out to over 11,600 avid quilters -- our wonderful readers! Learn more here.
